Broke
The last couple of days have shown an amazing number of visitors to my site – way more people than I’ve seen before. However, you people are using up all my bandwidth, very, very quickly! I’ve spent almost $1 this week alone – which is way up from the typical $0.10/week that I was paying before.
So I’m going to have to bring up the dreaded “D” word again.
I’m hoping to avoid having this site go down again because of lack of funds, and if you would like to help prevent this, please show your support through a donation.
If you like either or both of my plugins, and would like to keep them available and up to date, please take a moment and donate a couple of bucks to me through. I use PayPal, which should work with any payment method you want to use, but if you want to donate in a more direct way, you can email me to discuss it.
Also, you can always link to my site, or tweet about it – Linkbacks and Tweetbacks back to you will be added automagically! So we can help each other out!
You can also give my plugins a good rating on Wordpress, if you want.
Thanks!

Back online!

Friday, January 30th, 2009

My hosting account ran out of funds earlier in the week. I had to get some stuff together before I could add funds to the account, so my site had been down until now.

Now that I’m back online again, I plan to get back to work on these other plugins. I am also working on another actual content post, which I plan to have done in a day or two.

Unfortunately, my site went down on the say day they announced Thank a Plugin Developer Day :(

Hopefully I can keep this from happening again – I’m looking for different advertisement systems to help pay for the cost of the site… as much as I hate ads, I just can’t afford to keep this site up on my own. However, if you would like to help prevent this site from going down in the future, you can donate a couple dollars (or just one).

Funding

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I just received a friendly email from my host letting me know that I have less than $1 left in my hosting account balance. I will try to add some more funds as soon as possible, but I don’t know for sure when I will be able to. NearlyFreeSpeech.net is a great host, and while they are fairly inexpensive, I have to pay for it myself, and just about everything else (mortgage payments, car payments, food, diapers, etc) must come first.

If you would like to help ensure my site stays online, please feel free to donate as much or as little as you would like.  It costs about $0.62 to pay for 1 month of service, based on my current rate of bandwidth.

You can find a donation link on the right. Thank you.
