Upcoming wow-armory Release

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

If you’ve been looking at my Sidebar, you might notice a few differences in what I have displayed vs what is in the actual release… this is because I’m working a pretty major update to the wow-armory Plugin – which I hope to have ready shortly after my Contest ends.

Many of the upcoming changes are directly from suggestions or requests submitted by the people who use the plugin – I try very hard to accomadate all of my users, so if there’s anything that you would like to see changed, or if you want to use the plugin but see something that doesn’t look like it would work quite right, let me know! I can do anything*!

I hope you are all looking forward to this release! Also, I’m looking for some vict- er, volunteers to Beta Test this next release (and possibly future releases). If you like to live dangerously, drop me a comment or send me a message!

* The Author cannot actually do anything – just type code with some level of competence to make it seem that way.

See a list of changes after the cut.

Excuse the mess…

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

Unhappy with my own attempt at Theme Creation, and after discovering this Awesome Free Theme: Imagination, I decided to go ahead an overhaul my Blog design.
This means that several parts of my layout ended up broken, but I’m working hard to get everything back in place. Bear with me, please!

Special #1: [Caught in the Middle: D&D Adventure] Part 4

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Welcome to Part 4 of the Caught in the Middle Adventure Special. This continuing series is designed as a D&D 4E Adventure.

Eventually, the PCs should decide to head down the road to the west, and try and see if they can find any clues in the wreckage of the caravan. The mouth of the mountain pass is only an hour’s ride, about 2 hours on foot, and not far from the site of Thundercrown Castle – it would be a good idea to mention the castle while the PCs are heading towards the site. The road passes into a heavily wooded area right before reaching the mouth of the pass, and it is here, about 50 feet to the south of the road that the PCs will discover the caravan ruins.

You step from the trees into a large clearing. Immediately, you know this must be where the caravan was attacked. In a ring around the clearing are the blackened, wooden skeletons of no less than 6 covered wagons, and their wares. in the center of this ring is a large pile of ash – a decent sized campfire burned itself out. Scattered across the clearing are the rotting bodies of the caravan party – guards, men, women, children, animals, all seemingly cut down and slaughtered while they ran for safety from their attackers.

Issues

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

I am aware of several issues with the site right now – non-functional JavaScript, among other things… it’s not worth trying to fix at this point, because the new design will be rolling out (hopefully) soon… please bear with me until then. Thanks!

Upcoming Changes

site_preview

Even though I said I was going to give up on any site design changing shenanigans, I have been secretly working on a new Theme :P
I don’t know when it will be ready, possibly within 2-3 weeks of intermittent development.

As soon as it’s ready, I’ll activate it here, and we’ll see how it works.

Renovations

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Once again, I think it’s time to redesign the look of my site.

I do like the Theme I’m using now (iNove), but I think the site would benefit from a fresh, clean look. Does anyone have any suggestions for either a Theme to use, or a specific design or feature you would like to see on the site? I’ve tried making my own before, and while it was a learning experience, I was never happy with the results. I might try making my own again, but only after careful, and meticulous work on getting it perfect – something I really don’t have time for…
